AntiPDF for Linux
Version 1.2.0 for 64-bit Linux. Free to read, mark up and edit pages, like the Windows version.
What you need
- A 64-bit PC (x86-64) with 4 GB of memory.
- A graphics driver with Vulkan. Most current Mesa drivers (AMD, Intel) and the NVIDIA driver have it.
Arch Linux, CachyOS and Manjaro
Download antipdf-bin-1.2.0-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst, then:
sudo pacman -U antipdf-bin-1.2.0-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
Start it from the application menu, or run antipdf. To remove it: sudo pacman -R antipdf.
Ubuntu, Debian and Linux Mint
Download antipdf_1.2.0_amd64.deb, then:
sudo apt install ./antipdf_1.2.0_amd64.deb
To remove it: sudo apt remove antipdf.
Any other distribution
Download antipdf-1.2.0-linux-x86_64.tar.gz, unpack it and run the program once:
tar -xzf antipdf-1.2.0-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
./antipdf
Choose Install on this computer. It adds AntiPDF to your launcher for your user, with no root needed.
Check the download
Download SHA256SUMS into the same folder and run:
sha256sum -c --ignore-missing SHA256SUMS
Each file you have should say OK.
Not there yet
- There is no window without Vulkan. The way AntiPDF draws on the processor, which older computers use on Windows, does not have a Linux window yet.
- A package repository and an AUR package are planned, not available yet. Updates are a new download for now.
