Terms of sale and licence

AntiPDF Pro and the cloud add-on. Last changed 6 October 2026.

What you are buying, what you may do with it, and what we promise. The terms that govern a purchase are the ones on this page on the day it is made.

1. Who you are buying from

AntiPDF is licensed to you by Christer Söderlund, trading as Heimdall3D, Mendelstraße 4, 13187 Berlin, Germany (Anti Softworks is a brand of Heimdall3D). The full provider identification is in the imprint.

The sale itself goes through Paddle, the merchant of record and seller of record for your purchase: Paddle.com Market Ltd, 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom, company number 08172165, VAT number EU372017215. The name on your card statement and your invoice is therefore Paddle's, which is correct and not a mistake. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the payment; a problem with an order can be raised with Paddle at paddle.net.

2. What you can buy

Prices include VAT where it applies. Reading, markup, editing, organising pages, text recognition and printing are free and need no purchase.

3. What the licence gives you

A non-exclusive, personal licence to use AntiPDF Pro on up to three computers that you personally use. The licence belongs to the e-mail address it was bought with; you activate it by signing in to AntiPDF with that address or by entering the licence key, and you can move it from one computer to another in AntiPDF. Commercial use is included: there is no separate business licence. One licence covers one person; a second person needs a second licence.

You may not share, publish, resell or sublicense your licence key, redistribute the program, or remove or alter its licence check. Reverse engineering is permitted to the extent the law allows it (in Germany §§ 69d and 69e UrhG).

4. Subscriptions, renewal and cancelling

Monthly and yearly plans and the cloud add-on renew automatically at the end of each period at the price you agreed to, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the link in Paddle's receipt e-mail or at paddle.net; the plan then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. When a plan ends, the features it unlocked stop; reading and everything free keep working, and documents on your computers stay yours. We will tell you before any change to the price of a running subscription, and it applies only from your next renewal.

5. Updates

Updates to AntiPDF are included while your plan runs, and for Pro bought once the version you bought keeps working for good, including its updates. We cannot promise that every future feature will be part of Pro bought once, and we would rather say so than imply it.

6. Your right of withdrawal and refunds

Your statutory right of withdrawal and our refund promise are on the refunds page. In short: if AntiPDF Pro is not for you, write within 14 days of buying and you get your money back.

7. Warranty

If you buy as a consumer, your statutory warranty rights apply in full and are not excluded or shortened by anything here. Beyond those rights, AntiPDF is provided as it is: we do not warrant that it is free of defects or that it opens every file. Almost everything can be tried for free before you buy.

8. Liability

We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where liability is mandatory by law. For damage caused by ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely, and then only up to the damage typical for a contract of this kind and foreseeable when you bought. Liability under the Produkthaftungsgesetz is unaffected. Keep backups of your documents: no software replaces them.

9. Third-party software

AntiPDF includes open-source components and fonts; THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt, installed with the program, names each one and holds its licence in full. AntiPDF is not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe Inc.

10. Changes to these terms

The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones on this page on the day you bought. A later change applies to purchases made after it, and to a subscription only from a renewal after we told you about it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a business, the venue for disputes is Berlin. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply, and you can bring a claim where you live.
